Catalan cuisine is much more than paella, jamon, and sangria. Gourmets consider it one of the best not only in Spain but all over the world. The richest, most sophisticated and luxurious in the country, it is also called the Kitchen of Kings - after all, the local cooks were very much appreciated at the courts of European monarchs. To appreciate Catalan delicacies, we suggest you visit the medieval city of Besalu, one of the most picturesque places in Catalonia.
Besalu is called an open-air museum - such a huge number of cultural and historical attractions are collected here. Medieval streets seem to be timeless, although modern shops and souvenir shops are located on them. An old stone bridge of the 12th century, a massive castle, strong walls with a thousand-year history - all this has preserved the national coloring and spirit of the time!
In the city of Besalu lives and works one of the best chefs in Spain - Jaume Sole. Thanks to our long-standing friendship with him, we can arrange lunch or dinner for you in the unique restaurant in Catalonia. It serves national Catalan cuisine made with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Jaume himself picks them up. You will be offered a tasting menu of 9 shifts of dishes, each of which the cook will tell you personally. We promise - local seafood and the craftsmanship of a real cooking meter will certainly not leave you indifferent! The price includes drinks and wine.
